Carmen Gomez Goldberg is a powerhouse as an entrepreneur, political adviser, and community leader.
In her mission to end poverty through education, Carmen serves as the Director of Government, Parents and External Relations for Charter School of Educational Excellence.
Carmen Goldberg has adopted the Charter School creed that “We aim to inspire that all children can learn.”
In 2008, Ms. Gomez Goldberg established Gomez Goldberg and Partners.
Carmen Goldberg’s clients range from mayoral, state senate and assembly candidates to city council and judges’ races as well as other consulting firms.
She served as the senior adviser to the Mike Bloomberg 2009 re-election campaign.
Carmen Goldberg is no stranger to the Bloomberg camp having been Strategic Adviser to Michael Bloomberg’s 2005 successful second term bid for Mayor.
She has also been an adviser to several other prominent campaigns
In 2002, she was a lead strategic adviser and member of “Amigos De Pataki”, the grassroots Latino component of Governor George E. Pataki’s re-election effort, which successfully achieved the largest Latino turnout for a Republican gubernatorial candidate in New York State’s history.
Carmen Goldberg is also a dedicated community and civic leader as well
as a great public servant.
Through her steadfast commitment to her community, she has made a difference in the lives of many people, especially women.
Carmen Goldberg is the Vice President of 100 Hispanic Women of Westchester, former member of the Hispanic Advisory Board for the Board
of Elections and Founder of the Yonkers Federation of Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce.
She has served as a Director of the National Conference of Puerto Rican Women, empowering young Hispanic women to stay in school.
Carmen Goldberg has received numerous awards for her dedication to the Latino community, including the National Hispanic Magazine Latina Excellence Award, Comité Noviembre Puerto Rican Heritage Award, Entre Nosotras Award, El Diario La Prensa’s Top Latina Award, Advancement of Women Award, Griffon Award, Westchester Fund for Women and Girls Leadership Award, Martin Luther King Award and the Dominican Cultural Award.
She is a former President of the Yonkers Puerto Rican/Hispanic Day Parade Foundation Inc.
