Carl Petrillo has served as the Chairman of Yonkers Contracting Company, a heavy civil contractor focused on infrastructure construction for public and private clients for the past 35 years.
A proponent of community involvement, Mr. Petrillo has received numerous recognitions from various humanitarian organizations as well as for his business leadership.
Currently, he serves as the Vice Chair of St. Joseph’s Medical Center and Yonkers Partners in Education.
Mr. Petrillo started his career as an assistant superintendent for Yonkers Contracting Company where he rose to become the firm’s President and CEO.
During his 30-year tenure as Chief Executive, his vision and guidance made the family-owned firm one of the most well-respected businesses in the construction industry in the New York Metropolitan area.
His business acumen diversified the company to encompass all areas of heavy civil construction, including highways, bridges, rail, transit, water/wastewater and energy/environmental projects.
Both the firm and Mr. Petrillo are active members of the Westchester community. Mr. Petrillo is a graduate of Lehigh University’s School of Business Administration.
